Because He Lives

Hi Folks,

 

Complete the following statement:  Because Christ lives ....

 

What a difference three words can make.  Christ is risen!

It is no exaggeration to say that Christ's resurrection makes all the difference in the world.  It confirms Christ's claim to be the Son of God.  It proves that our sins have been forgiven.  It's the basis of our own sure hope of life after death.  And more!  -- but I'll save that for Sunday.

 

What kind of person has this kind of power over life and death?  We'll find important clues from a different resurrection - from Jesus' raising of Lazarus from the dead.  The Apostle John records this stunning story in the 11th chapter of his gospel.  Study questions are attached.  Enjoy!
