ANNOUNCEMENTS

On Saturday, July 18th we will have a celebration of life for Cora Smith, and we invite you to share with family and friends at SVCC starting at 11 am. Cora and Bill were part of the team that planted the church at SVCC. Cora was a committed member who loved serving others through teaching, hospitality, and loving people for more than 43 years. We will have a luncheon after the service and would love to provide some great food. We need 4 large SALADS, preferably a large pasta/vegetable salad, a large potato salad, a large green salad, and another salad (of choice). The main food and beverages have already been generously provided. If you can help with a salad, please let Laura Oien know (360-978-4684,  ) so she can plan accordingly. They will need to be a larger amount. Thank you so much.

Pray for staff serving at Young Life Camp to rely on God’s wisdom and strength. Pray also for Young Life leaders to find a new fall schedule that will work well for everyone.

• Don’t forget our ongoing exercise sessions: Join others for an hour of exercise and fellowship. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the church in the children's Sunday school room. Please contact Eileen Maggard at 360-978-6746 for more information.

Come rest, renew, and enjoy relationship with sisters in Christ at the Women's retreat Nov. 6-8.  You'll enjoy Bible study, worship through music and communion, games (including Bible Trivia for a prize), strolls along forested trails, delicious meals, and a chance to win a beautiful hanging quilt.   Register on-line or pick up a registration form at the WM Table, where you can also check out the commemorative T-Shirts for only $14.  The cost of $185 covers the whole weekend.  To reduce your retreat cost, contact Christina Nicholson directly at 253-507-6161 (text or call) to schedule a time convenient for you to help with cleaning or other misc. tasks at the church.
