Mark Elefritz

Mark is a forester, a student of the Bible, & an avid coffee drinker. He loves to grow dahlias, interact honestly, and worship God with other people.

Mark was born cautious & shy, so God took him to Africa to teach him how to depend on Him and do brave things. God brought a lovely missionary woman into his life. All remaining caution evaporated, and Mark – with the counsel of others – married Jill. He enjoys the colorful adventure of life & ministry with his amazing bride.

Mark & Jill believe that Jesus changes everything, that God’s Word has transformational power, that life is best lived in community, and that every person matters. They are excited about what God has done & will be doing at Shoestring Church.
