Youth Group

We have two youth events coming up in September. Join us on Monday, September 7 (Labor Day) from 4-7pm for an end-of-summer pool party and bbq at the McCurrys'. 

On Saturday, September 12 we will meet at the Mount St. Helens Creation Center in Castle Rock at 9am for a presentation before heading out for a guided Field Adventure. We will hike the Hummocks Trail, learning more about Mount St. Helens and hearing about the scientific case that's in harmony with God's Word. This is an all-day adventure, and we will need to drive to several different points. Please sign up in advance so we can plan to have enough vehicles. All youth family members are welcome to come, but we ask that any children under 12 be accompanied by a parent. The adventure costs $35 per person or $95 per family, but they will give our group a 10% discount. There are scholarships available. Contact Tim and Chelsea Helgren.

September Shoebox Item

The wash cloth need has mostly been met- THANK YOU so much!
One of the largest needs now is small items such as tennis balls or hot wheels cars. 

GriefShare

Are you grieving a loss, or know someone who is? Find hope and healing at GriefShare. A new session begins on September 20, from 2:30-4:30 pm in the parsonage. Email Mike or Fay Ternan at for information, or visit GriefShare.org to register.

Women's Ministry

Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.  She opens her mouth with wisdom and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

 Something new we hope you don't miss: The Women’s Ministry Coffee Klatch is this Saturday, Sept 12, 10:00 in the fellowship hall. There is no cost but you do need to sign up today, so WM knows how many souls to prepare for.

Pies & More Pies!

It’s that time of year to start making pies as a fundraiser for Samaritan’s Purse shoebox postage! We are starting on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the 8th,9th, and 10th of September 10am to 2pm. We could use some helpers that want to make some great pies. Young children are welcome accompanied by an adult! Choose any day that works for you, it’s fun I promise! If you have any questions please call: Carolyn Hennessey or Chelsea Helgren
